empty streets and silent beats
all we see, hear, as eye treats
to the beauty that lives there
and whose noise is every where
right across other side i see
her glowing face, moonlit sea
my reflection somewhere small
but visible in corridor's hall
Alas! no word is ever spoken
no steps forward or back taken
just this moment of life time
music of nights' lovely rhyme
here hear myself breathing
seeing her also breathing
just the solitude, precious
but the night is vicious
Cannot go and meet her there
don't expect her to be here
but still the routine lives
daily pain and joy it gives
Ah! days of life in heaven
moments its like cloud seven
its just me, her and night
and touch with blur sight
how much ever I hope to meet
there's a small border to greet
separating nothing but land
not having us hold our hand
boundary separating nations
creating huge human bastions
not of love but weapons, war
guarded by face painted in tar
i cannot wash my face anymore
cannot even reach her on shore
for even-though she is right here
our own earth separates us here
our own earth separates us here
all we see, hear, as eye treats
to the beauty that lives there
and whose noise is every where
right across other side i see
her glowing face, moonlit sea
my reflection somewhere small
but visible in corridor's hall
Alas! no word is ever spoken
