in between we had this long wait
there came Diwali, Christmas and eid

There was season of Spring, colors
and that remained colorless this year
heart had buds of love waiting bloom

This monsoon was weird alone
my eyes, cheeks wet in every rain

Why did we have to meet once
if we had to separate forever again
my patience for your face is infinite
