I dont know why, and from where
these feelings comes to me suddenly
that I love you, even more than I did
when you are far, not mine anymore

I dont know why, I still live here
just with thoughts of yours, love
with these emotions full of love
when am nothing but sad without

I dont know why, I still feel same you
have your essence, your persona felt
even with the distance that separates
when I know you will never be here

I dont know why, I wait here for you
caring less that you come with one
or you come along a sea of men
when I know thats not what I can see

I dont know why, I look at the moon
each night, blowing my kisses through it
hoping they reach you at crest of its night
when I know you are in someones arms

I dont know why, sitting at this shore
I imagine its you, right here teasing me
as daughter of this sea, splashing waves
caressing feet, pulling sand underneath

I dont know why, am still looking across
this shore and the ocean beyond this
hoping that you will walk over horizon
when I know  you are  moving away
