from the day

From the day I am on this earth
have waited just for glimpse of you
knowing well that among all being
only you are my souls companion

for even if we remain, far away
in adobe of these two bodies
these souls are, but one
you and me separated but one

Our souls will ensure we meet
after these tears have dried
and longing years have passed
and these eyes seek just you

within the expanse of life
and beyond horizon of time
either way we are not separate
